1. Data we store
Forager Friend stores your account details, profile details, saved spots, collections, uploaded photos, friend and sharing records, conversations, public submissions, reports, and moderation records.
2. How we use data
We use data to provide account access, maps, lists, calendar features, offline draft sync, friend sharing, conversations, public map review, reports, security, and support.
3. Location and photos
Spots can include exact coordinates, notes, dates, season windows, collection membership, and photos. Private spots stay private unless you share them with friends or submit them to the public map.
4. Sharing and public content
If you share a spot or collection, accepted friends may see the shared content. If a public submission is approved, its name, notes, exact location, photos, and public labels may be visible to anyone. Your email address is not shown on social or public spot surfaces.
5. Service providers
We use service providers such as Supabase for authentication, database, and file storage, Mapbox for maps and place search, and Apple or Google when you choose their sign-in options. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
6. Device storage
The mobile app may store private offline drafts, copied draft photos, and cached owned map/list data on your device so your work is not lost when the network is unavailable.
7. Deletion rights
You can delete your account and associated app data from Settings. Some moderation, report, security, or legal records may be retained when needed to protect the service or comply with obligations.
