Terms of Service

Last updated: June 18, 2026

  1. 1. Service scope

Forager Friend is a personal logging tool. It does not identify species and does not verify safety, legality, or access rights.

  2. 2. User responsibility

You are solely responsible for what you collect, consume, and do with the information in this app.

  3. 3. Content created by users

Spot names, notes, messages, photos, profile details, handles, reports, and other content are created by users and may be incomplete or incorrect. Do not upload content you do not have permission to use, private information about others, or abusive, unlawful, unsafe, or misleading content.

  4. 4. Sharing and public map

Private spots are visible only to you unless you choose to share them with accepted friends or submit them to the public map. Approved public spots may show exact coordinates, notes, photos, and labels to anyone. Moderation review does not verify species identification, safety, legality, or access rights.

  5. 5. Safety controls

We may reject, remove, label, or restrict public submissions, reports, accounts, or shared content when needed to operate the service, enforce these terms, respond to abuse, or protect users. You can block users and report public spots where those controls are available.

  6. 6. Legal compliance

You must follow local laws, regulations, conservation rules, and land access permissions in your location.

  7. 7. Account and data

You can request deletion by using the Delete account option in Settings. Deleted accounts cannot be restored.
